StaticNuke v1.2.1 Released

StaticNuke v1.2.1 is a small update:

It now nicely formats the creation / destruction process output for categories so that it is easier to read if you get any errors.
A check has been added to ensure that category names contain no spaces - this apparantly was still an issue even though it says dont use spaces ;) Now you cant use spaces, so you wont get any errors due to that anymore

Say Hello to StaticList v1.0!

StaticList v1.0 is now live!

StaticList is similar to StaticNuke in that it adds static content to PHPNuke, but as its name suggest it adds a list. It can be a list of anything at all - people, places, files, anything - and its managed in the Admin system of PHPNuke. No HTML or PHP experience required.

Check out the example, you will see what it does! Its not useful for everyone, but its there if you need it.

Version 1.2 released!

Version 1.2 is now available!

After much time on the shelf, I decided that it was time to add at least a little more finctionality to StaticNuke. This latest version now comes fully "slashed", so that every field in the Static Pages can now contain HTML and display it without any worry of getting annoying 's all over the place. Its a simple update but it adds a whole level of functionality now that names, titles and descriptions can automatically format HTML and present it properly.

Go download it, it uses the same table structure as v1.1 so the only thing you need to update are the admin module files! You will also need to update your index.php files, I have included an example index for you that tou can upload into each of your StaticNuke category module folders. Remember to backup your old indexes though, just in case.

StaticNuke Example Site is live

As you can see, the StaticNuke example site is live. It was a lot of work to show off two static content pages. Also, the fact that the installaiton was very easy even on this new and completely different server is further proof that the project is actually very stable and easy to install. I even had to read my own readme to get it installed because I forgot ;) Its been a year after all.

Check StaticNuke out. It adds a nice little button to the admin system that lets you add static categories and pages. The categories show up as modules (which you can activate at your leisure) and the pages get linked to each category you add. Simple and efficient!
